To be perfectly honest, as much as I love the products that come out, I get a little tired of writing and talking about Google and Salesforce. I really wish some other companies would develop and innovate on the same level and provide some new tools to the folks out there trying to make good things (actually) happen.

As it is though, yet another announcement was released this week letting us all know how Google and Salesforce are going to make our lives easier and more efficient so we can spend more of our time focusing on the things that matter.

Salesforce for Google Apps launched yesterday, and let me just say as a user of both Google Apps for Nonprofits and Salesforce Foundation’s offering of Salesforce’ platform that this union is a game changer. Essentially, it’s “a simple, yet powerful combination of web-based business applications that can change the way you work by streamlining communication and collaboration.”

I don’t know how better to say it than that. You may just have to experience it for yourself.

Do others have experience using either or both tools to increase productivity and efficiency and make more happen as a result?
