I am very pleased to announce that ADOOGA.com has officially launched the Beta version of its website today!
Why am I pleased you might ask? If you did ask, I might answer that there are two reasons.
1) It’s the brain child of one of my best friends and 2) It’s fun, innovative, and has huge potential - both commercially and for the social sector - to engage pretty much anyone in contests.
What’s it do? ADOOGA aggregates all of the branded contests on the web, facilitating the discovery of and participation in hundreds of fun, interactive contests. Right off the bat, ADOOGA is featuring over 250 active contests with over $17,000,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs.
As soon as Chris first mentioned the idea over a year ago now, I immediately began thinking of all the ways it could be leveraged “for good,” and there were tons. Already many nonprofits and social-good websites are conducting contests to increase connection with their users and stakeholders, generate ideas, and simply have fun. ADOOGA is a platform to raise even more awareness of those campaigns
I personally am going to enter this contest
Like other 2.0 sites and blogs, the way ADOOGA will really work is for many people to participate, and in order for that to happen Chris is going to need our help. You know what that means (i.e. spread the word) and you know how to do it!
