My favorite blog for the last several months is 5 Minutes of Caring on CoolPeopleCare.org. It’s often the most useful thing I get all day.
That is to say, it’s almost always something I can actually do. And on top of that, it’s fun!
CoolPeopleCare is written and run by a guy named Sam Davidson out of Nashville, TN, and I found out about him and his site when he wrote me at Idealist to see about getting an XML feed of volunteer opportunities to display on CoolPeopleCare. So far it’s working pretty well.
My favorite post that I’ve gotten since I signed up for daily emails was todays, entitled “Sock it To Me.”
What I love most is the creativity and humor Sam brings to making good things realistically doable for just about anyone. I mean who doesn’t have a half dozen solo socks lying around?
Go check it out and sign up. Great stuff.
